[TYPO3-dam] element browser not showing anything

Hi,

i am running typo3 4.1.1 and DAM 1.0.11

And have some strange behavior with the typo3 element browser:

When i am trying to select 	an image from a folder, nothing appears  
on the screen, and firefox keeps on loading..
Images do appear when i click on mediatypes/jpg in the element browser..

is this some sort of bug or a setting i am missing..
