[TYPO3-dam] FE DAM download links from categories

Hi,
I am just starting with typo3 and i must say it is very promising, but 
sometimes confusing.. ;-)

anyway, I am searching for a way to display file links in the FE from 
Categories from the DAM.

The contents of a category from the dam should be placed on a page in 
the frontend.

I have tried the following extensions:

- mm_dam_filelist but when i want to download a file in the FE it 
returns an error that tslib folder cannot be found, but when i specify 
the path, i get an CGI error
- dam_downloads but i always get no files found on the FE

Are there any other plug-ins that do the same, or am i doing something 
wrong.. And i do need to get this working asap.

Any ideas.
