I know this extension and I have used it also and this is really a "simple"
solution :)... Knowing the DAM is indexing all the documents, I find it
really frustrating to have to create a website and to put the filelink in a
page content in order to be able to index it in full text... I can search
metadata with the DAM and I must visit the FE to search the content... Quite
ergonomic :)
Moreover imagine if my system manages 100.000 documents... I should add all
of these documents in this page, one by one and I should visit each link to
index it... Hopefully, there is the BE Page Crawler for this...

I'm thinking about coding it by myself even if I don't have much time
because I'm the first to need it :)
But I must make my ideas very clear and also study a bit indexed_search and
DAM before going in the code :)
