[TYPO3-dam] Limiting image upload size

I have two related quoestions that I've been trying to find an answer for:

1. The upload function states "Maximum file size: 2.0 M" - I'm assuming 
that somehow I can change this but I've been unable to work out how - 
can anyone advise.

2. Is it possible to set a default max width for images that are 
uploaded so that ImageMagick would scale all uploaded images to a 
standard size.
