I think so too.

1)
Btw. you can just add a link to an appropriate CGI o wc3.org and they
will check the referer for conformacy

for example:

<a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer"

			<img style="border: 0pt none ; width: 80px; height: 15px;"
src="fileadmin/templates/main/images/xhtml.png" alt="Valid XHTML 1.0!">
		    </a>

thats all you need. put it on any page and get it checked.
