Ok, I'll take care of it:

As for affecting existing installations. The 3.8 behaves different than 3.7 
(hashes), since they are not welcome this will change. So 3.8.1 will affect 
site the same way 3.8 has affected sites. Ie those sites that used CSS to 
style individual form field via id, will have to adapt.
