I like the idea.

What about this?

Extending bugs.typo3.org to be some kind of shop! Crazy? For example one 
enter the request for funcionality X / or bugs X removing. X becomes 
some kind of product now that one can buy. This "products" / missed 
funcionalities / bugs are shown at www.typo3.org so lots of people can 
see what can be improved. People are buying missed funcionality (for 
example one "buy" for minimum 10 Euro). The money is accumulated and is 
going to TYPO3 Association bank account. Every cent is counted and lets 
say after 2 month 25 people paid 10 Euro for feature X to be in TYPO3. 
One developer think - ok - that's enough for me I can do it for 250 Euro.

What do you think about this?
