[TYPO3-commerce] Product attribute as textfield/dropdown in FE without existing article

Hi,

would be handy if the frontend user could enter/select an attribute 
value for customized extras of a product. It also reduces the number of 
articles which are limited.

Are there any plans to implement this in the future? Perhaps a new 
attribute type "Shall FE"?

In my case I try to sell contact lens, on some there are over 50.000 
possible combinations...
