[TYPO3-commerce] Allowing several fe_users with the same e-mail address in checkout

Hi all,

I'm a newby having a freshly installed commerce running and I'm stuck
at this: In the checkout process, if you type in a shipping address
containing an e-mail address already used by the same customer in a
previous checkout, it is rejected. Is there any chance to bypass this
behaviour? Background: I'd like to have customers come back and order
without having to log in.
