[TYPO3-commerce] blank detail page

Hello there

when I click on the detail page of an article, which has more than 200
variants (the same shop that Philipp Holdener is working on), I just
receive a blank page. When there are only 20 articles, the detail page
works. 
I followed Dmitry's advice
(http://dmitry-dulepov.com/article/blank-empty-page-in-typo3.html) and enabled those settings but no error shows up,
not in the php nor the apache error log.
I'm using TYPO3 4.2.6 with commerce 0.9.8.

Any other troubleshooting help is greatly appreciated.
