Hi.

Well, the topic may be closed, but I realized recently that 
static_info_tables not only provides static data plus a method to show 
the most "popular" countries first in a dropdown, but also... has a 
method to apply taxes. Since it knows tax rates for countries/regions 
that might give the whole tax handling part another spin...
