[TYPO3-calendar] No way to cancel creation of an event after "Date is in past!"

Hi everybody,

I tried to create an event in the past via fe editing. Unsurprisingly
this causes a warning. But after trying to save this event, I can't
cancel the event creation anymore. By clicking the cancel-button the
create_event_view reloads, even setting a date in the future makes it
possible to leave the create_event_view.

Any ideas to solve this problem?
