[TYPO3-calendar] Problem with plugin.tx_cal_controller.view.day.dynamic

Hi all,
on my site it looks like the plugin.tx_cal_controller.view.day.dynamic 
setup does not work when set to 1: the empty times before and after 
events are unexpectedly shown in the day view.
Does this happen to anyone else or is it just a bug of my installation?
I am using cal version 1.5.1.
