Bingo! You are so right! There is a TS config in the sysfolder where the 
events are stored:

options.tx_cal_controller.pageIDForPlugin = 360

PID 360 is the ID of this sysfolder with the events...

I have changed it now to a pid where a cal FE plugin is placed and now 
it works.
