Well, this is indeed fact!
As far as I remember we discussed about integrating the "dashboard" 
including some enhancement to our backend making it the standard startup 
   module. I came up with some further ideas directly at Tim Lochmüller...
Today it seems, that this project drowned in the mass of ideas...

As far as I remember the last point have been:
  - we need another/new Widget JS Engine
  - define new more flexible API Widgets<->Dashboard
  - create a Kickstarter possibility for Widgets

The further project I did not follow...
