[TYPO3-project-4-3] Gabriel core integration

Hi guys,

I guess most of you know the gabriel [1] extension: It's a central
schedling engine, that comes with an administration module, and needs to
be invoked by cron.

The great thing about it is that you just need to register that one
cronjob for gabriel on your system (invoked every 5 minutes or so), and
all individual functions like the crawler, indexing, post-card-sending
etc. could the be administered and scheduled from the gabriel admin
module, without having to register another cronjob on your system.

The only problem with this is: Not many extensions are making use of it,
and not many installations have the gabriel cron job set up. Therefore,
the gain in usability that could result from garbiel being used
everywhere, is not really there yet.

Now, I think that would be different if gabriel would ship with the core
as the central scheduling engine and be the way to go for schedulable
CLI tasks.

I'm not sure this is something for TYPO3 4.3 already, as it probably
needs some more rethinking and code improvements of gabriel first, but
maybe for 4.4 it could be something useful.

What do you think?

cheers
Ingmar
