yes, you are right. Extending the images and text/image sounds like a 
logic way for Videos, adding MP3 as a picture sounds a bit strange.
A mime-switch has to be used for rendering. I did some work on the 
rendering and have so far
* MP3, SWF, MP4, M4V stream with SWFobject
* mov stream with QTobject
* avi, mpeg, mpg - has to be embed with object tags, no better idea yet
