[TYPO3-project-4-3] Is it time to ship optimized TYPO3 by default?

It seems that majority agrees with it. Now, how do we do it? I see
two ways:
- files are renamed in SVN and we need to check that packaging
scripts include these files correctly
- we do not change SVN but we update packaging scripts to rename the
files before packaging

I prefer #1 because it gives immediate effect to everyone who works
with SVN versions.

What do you think?
