[Typo3-install] using greek characters

Hello everybody,

 

I don't  know if this is the correct mailing list for my question.

Firstly I do not have much experience working with Typo3. In fact I'm trying
to develop my first site.

I worked with templates and extensions and all went well.

But when I tried to write content in greek language (because it will be the
main language for the sites I'm going to develop) I started having problems.

I tried most of the proposed solutions including using UTF-8 as the default
character set but there was no luck.

Is there anyone that can help on setting Typo3 to use greek characters?

 

I have to mention that my Operating system is Win XP and  web server Apache
(I agree that it is a weird combination). This environment is for testing
purposes only.
