Benutze 127.0.0.1 anstatt von localhost. Das sollte von Socket zu Port 
wechseln.

Es gibt noch keinen Socket spezifischen Code in 
typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Database/DatabaseConnection.php Zeile 1180.
