Keine Ahnung. Ich habe mir nicht jede angesehen, war mit dem
goof_fotoboek schnell zufrieden :-)

Aber schau Dir doch einfach mal ein paar Extensions auf TYPO3 an.
Diese hier hören sich am besten an. Bei der letzten müsste man auch
eine Upload-Möglichkeit für FE-User über das DAM realisieren können.

goof_fotoboek
Flexible photo gallery which renders multilevel plain directories into
scaled, watermarked (IM6) and thumbnailed images with a frontend
interface to make multilangual comments per photo and directory.

jm_gallery
This is a flexible frontend plugin for publishing photo albums for a
single site or across multiple sites, each time with seperate settings
for thumbnail size and single-view picture size. Albums can be
assigned to different categories, which helps you to order the albums
on your website.

ce_gallery
Photogallery with AJAX based Slideshow - uses DAM and DAM categories.
Thumbnails are automatically generated and cached.The photo gallery
extension provides the functionality to create a web based photo
gallery. It uses the DAM to store and manage the pictures and only
takes care to display the photos in albums (which are DAM categories).
There are two possibilities to display the detail pages and a slide
show. One of those possibilities uses "normal" HTML for the detail
page and some Javascript for the slide show, the other possibility
uses AJAX for both, the detail pages and the slide show.
