someone used the upvote mechanism to upvote multiple article of single
users. But stackoverflow rated this abusage and removed the resulting
reputation points in the night after.
so gathering reputationpoints has to be done in a normal way (and no
forcing):
ask questions, answer questions, accept answers and every now and then
do an upvote if you find a very interesting question or answer.
in short: just use stackoverflow as intended and don't try to cheat.

a short hint to the following 'private beta' phase:
as far as I know in this phase only commiters are allowed to participate.
in the following 'public beta' everyone is allowed to contribute to
typo3.stackexchange.com.
