[TYPO3-english] install tool error

Hi,

Tried several things. But stil can’t get in the install-tool. The site itself is still working. 
Changing the files to 755 did not help (or I am not sure might not be possible, the site is on a hosted service and not very open for changes through the admin user) I had a look at the folders which were already having the 755. Tried to use a different (lower) Typo3 version instead. Butt still the same error appears. The Template could not be found!

So which file is calling (looking) for the Template? Is it called from install.php or from any other file?  

Also when trying to log in, in the typo3 BE I get a message saying: No authentication methods available. Please, contact your TYPO3 administrator.
Does this interfere somehow? I can’t imagine that it does, but one never knows.
