[TYPO3-english] tx_news: preserve pagination state

Hi there,

I've got a two-column page, with the main column containing a tx_news detail plugin and the sidebar harbouring a tx_news list. Works great - you can browse through the list, and when clicking a list entry, the corresponding details are shown in the main column.

But here comes the great "however": Once you click on a list entry, the pager "forgets" which page it has just displayed, and while you can now enjoy the details of the article you just selected, you'll now have to start browsing the list from the begining all over again.

So I wonder if there's a way to preserve the pager's state?
