I do not think this will help you, because the error is the lost connection 
between PHP and MySQL.
Finding the cause for the connection drop will help you here. Unfortunately, 
I do not have much knowledge about such errors and when they happen.

Please note that this is not just a failed query, but a real hard drop of 
the connection.
