[TYPO3-english] menu based on sys_category?

For pages, it is already in the Core and will be in 6.2. See [1] and [2].

For content elements, there's a patch pending. It even has the green 
light from Ernesto to still go in after beta1, but it seems like it's 
going to perish in feature freeze hell for lack of interest. Maybe you 
can save it? Review it if you can or encourage people to do so (in 
particular active contributors).
