[TYPO3-english] forntend cookie is not created

Hello everybody:

I am using typo3 v.4.5. I need to get the frontend cookie session id.
In previous versions I used $_COOKIEbut in this version, this cookie, is not created.
I use Internet Explorer 8. I have configured it to accept all kind of cookies.
The forntend session is mantined all the time but the cookie is not created.

Anyone knows why this happens?
