[TYPO3-english] to (t3)blog or not

Hello!

I'm new user enthusiastic to learn and use TYPO3 for *all* my web needs
including sites which need blog as part of the whole site.

Some people recommended me to use T3blog which seems the most
complete blogging solution available for Typo3.

However, besides reading several 'horror stories' about complexity of
t3blog to tweak according to one's needs, I also stumbled upon this
blog psot by someone (Dmitry) quite deep into Typo3:

http://www.dmitry-dulepov.com/2011/10/using-typo3-for-blogging.html

where he recommends Blogger or WP.

His pro points are the ones which I really like, and from the cons I
wonder about the 'peformance' and (especially) 'customisation is hard'
items?

I plan to work with Typo3 and (slowly) migrate parts of my present web
sites as I learn, but, ironically, the smallest site are at the moment
mostly blogs (although we'll change it soon), so wonder if you can give
some hint how to proceed in the attempt to migrate e.g. small WP blog
to t3blog, iow. which skills I have to equip to be able to do it?

Sincerely,
Gour
