[TYPO3-english] Question about mail not being sent on a Typo3 4.6.5

I have installed the WEC package on a server and am using it for a
ministry.  I have placed a mail response to receive emails if anybody
has a question but it will not send the mail.  It shows as sent in
Powermail database but it has never left the server.
Sendmail is turned on and I can send emails via the terminal just
fine...
Any body have any ideas as to what could be the problem?
