[TYPO3-english] EM 6.0: Unusuable for production sites?

A detail view might be needed ... go ahead and create an issue and/or a

A patch is pending which go me working. It just did not make it into 6.0.0

That is a feature which is - stictly spoken - not an extension management 
issue, but more a dev issue.

Just create an extension for this or move this from old EM into the 
extdevel.

There could be improvements and with the new code, this becomes possible.

Partially ... it was one of the release goals with 6.0. It was political in 
a sense, because including it was the better decision (code wise) than 
fixing the old EM once more.

6.0 is not that much meant for direct migration, but more for new sites. 
Migration is supported of course.


I will have an eye on the new EM and I will propose some patches if I find 
some time, e.g. a confirmation before dependencies are installed.
