[TYPO3-english] Error creating new pages or editing existing page properties

Good afternoon,

We have upgraded from 4.3 to 4.5.7 and swapped ip addresses over and now when we 
try to create a new page or edit and existing page (properties) we get the 
following error:

Oops, an error occured!

PHP Catchable Fatal Error: Argument 1 passed to 
t3lib_div::array_merge_recursive_overrule() must be an array, null given, called 
in /var/www/html/typo3_src+dummy-4.5.7/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php on line 4714 
and defined in /var/www/html/typo3_src+dummy-4.5.7/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php 
line 2215

Any help would be most appreciated!
