[TYPO3-english] How to remove the "lost" RTEmagicX files from upload dir

Hi,

I've some websites with hundreds of RTEmagic files in the upload dir.
And most of them are orphans.

I've searched for a solution. There are some extensions, but they only 
clean the subdirs of the upload dir, not the files in the upload dir 
himself.

Also found some words of Kasper about a patch which should remove the 
"lost RTEimages". But could not find how to use that function.

Is there some solution to get rid of all those unwanted, because space 
consuming, guests?


An other question: Wat are the differences between RTEmagicC and 
RTEmagicP files?
