[TYPO3-english] RealURL

Hi Dimitry,
Yes i know the feature of skipping parts , but this doesn't meet all the needs... the feature to overwrite a whole url (sometimes for seo purposes eg) ... like in aoe_realurlpath..(the only feature in this extension i like by the way)...

Root
-News
-- Newslist
--NewsDetail

If i skip the news part this will also hit news-detail but what if i want only to transformt eh whole part of a page like news detail should be called /test123/whatsnew/newslist....

Do you know what i mean ? the ability to set a full path for one site which does not affect any othe peages in the rootline etc...

I know that your projects were dealed first, i'am a developer too, i don't want to rush you ... i'd only mention that this feature would be a great effort for your extension, because it would make ralurl more agile/adaptiv..

(lets see if we find a sponsr fort hat feature...)
About what amount fo sponsoring do we talk ?

Regards...
Dom

No such feature.

This is called "skipping a segment on the path". Basically you can skip one
or more segments ("News" in this case).

I process only feature requests from the bug tracker. So if you want a new
feature, please, make sure it is in the bug tracker. Mailing lists or
e-mails or form posts do not result in any implementation. This is because
we have a single central place for all requests, where both developers and
users can track the progress.

I cannot promise any particular implementation because it takes time to
implement. If the feature is sponsored, that's speeds up implementation.
Otherwise it awaits until I have time or somebody else makes a patch. Daily
job, customer projects or sponsored projects always take priority. Free
work goes last.
