As you are welcome of course to providing new solution you should 
consider if this makes any sense...

First - tip: my standard way for searching values is using online TSref 
and function of FireFox: "Start searching while typing" and it's 
definitely fastest way I know in this times... Theres also inspector (as 
Martin mentioned, but IMHO it's too much splited into small parts...

second, remember that if you'll start that you'll have to work parallel 
with core team, to make sure that everythings is still up to date...

third. In TYPO3 4.3 there is auto completion function... which will be 
cool :) (now in my test-env with alpha3 it works only for values that 
I've declared by myself before... but not for whole TSref (?) )

[topic changes here a little bit...]
and... fourth, most important... I was consider if you would create an 
extension for... generating beLayout section of XML for JS driven tabs 
:))) (you know what I mean :) )

I was testing your framework for TV and I like it so much, but in most 
cases, I will still start creating TV templates from the begining. (of 
course your implementation is good sample for good TV practices.

I was thinkin' about creating such ext (which will be rather single 
form-based script), and sending it to you, but, unfortunately still have 
no time... If you won't find any time for that I will... but not so fast :)
