[TYPO3-english] newloginbox problem

I am using newloginbox.
After clicking Login on the login form $GLOBALS['TSFE']->loginUser 
returns 0. But as soon as I reload the same page the 
$GLOBALS['TSFE']->loginUser returns 1.
That for some reason happens only in my production environment :( , all 
other environments are fine. The difference in production is that the DB 
is not on the same box. The rest is identical ( to the best of my 
knowledge )
