So? The people answering your request for assistance did not know
that. We advised you to correct the errors in your template (a) to
rule out the possibility that some xml parsing component of TYPO3 or
TV was choking on them. It was impossible to rule out this possibility
because even though you claimed the template was error free, it
clearly was not. When troubleshooting problems like this, the obvious
problems must be eliminated first (this, incidentally, is also the
best reason for always creating valid html documents in the first
place).

By not correcting the errors in your html, you made it more difficult
for the people you asked for help to help you. It was only when you
finally reduced your html to a very small (valid!) test case that it
was possible to say for certain that the html was not a factor.
