Humans are "based" on monkeys. Monkeys prefer "try and see, repeat" approach to "think, do and get". We, humans, do the same for most of the time.

It was a cool practice for me a couple of days ago when my laptop died. I did not have any development tools but had to fix a bug on a production server at peak hours. I did it by plain looking without test runs. It also made me think how much we use and reply on tools instead of using our brain. Monkey approach is still at large.
