[TYPO3] TYPO3 websites and smartphones

Hello
How TYPO3 deal with rendering the websites for smartphone ? I am yet to read
about this, and the requirements (if any) a smartphone imposes.
I would like to discuss this and hear from your experience whats going.
Are there folks that have developed websites in TYPO3 (recently preferred)
and made sure that these websites will deliver/render the content properly
for smartphone devices?
