Hi David,

Thanks a lot for the discussion. regarding php ; it is version 5.2  and
gd version is 2.0.36

as the latest IM uses the name "composite" I think I should stick with
"combine" as here the IM  version is 4.2.9
what do you think ?

some times there are some halfway generated images; the ( half of image
)  top is created but the rest half i.e. bottom portion is black. If I
delete all the images from temp folder typo3 creates the full images. I
really have no clue of this strange happening. Do you have any clue ?
