[TYPO3] Making multi-lingual sites

Hi,

I have to make some websites with typo3 that use different languages, 
both the websites themselves and for content editors. Is TYPO3 setup 
already to allow this? What I mean is, is the content going to get 
rendered correctly when it's in russian or chinese or french? And saved 
correctly in the database?

Can anyone give any links to useful resources for TYPO3 in relation to 
multiple languages? Or advice?
