[TYPO3] localization problems - Romanian language

I'm sorry, there was a typing problem.

with the typoscript below (without the ">" on each line :p ) I get the same output: the menu changes, but the content elements are shown in the frontend no matter what language is selected (I mean for both). I suspect that this is due to using templavoila and not setting something up for it, but I don't know what.

Any further help?

Thank you,

Gabi Verzea

Thank yu for your response. Indeed I have then mixed up - the english content is actually romanian and the romanian one is english. But shouldn't the website still list the contents, but the other way around? My problem is that for both english and romanain I get the same content.

I have changed the typoscript in the following manner, and now even the menu doesn't change anymore when I change the language:

> ################## Languages Setup ##################

> config.sys_language_uid = 0
> config.language = en
> config.locale_all = english

From what you describe it seems that your default language is
English and then you translate to Romanian. But looking at your
TypoScript you define Romanian as the default language
(sys_language_uid = 0) and English as a translation. I would guess
this is the cause of the confusion.
