[TYPO3] directmail attachment bigger / größer 500k

Hello List,

i have a big problem. I tried to send mails with attachment bigger
than 500kb. First i set in the tca.php for the attachment field the
'max_size' => '5000'. And i set the databasefield attachment in the
table sys_dmail from tinyblob to mediumblob.

But in the end the mails come without the attachment. Have anybody a idea?
