[TYPO3] Trying to create an extension with Kickstarter extension

Hi,

I created a test extension with the kickstarter.

It made the database tables and the option to select it as a plugin, but
nothing shows up in the backend when I create a new content element with the
extension.

Things show up though on the web page, the filed names are there ist ext
saying mode1 mode 2 mode3 as well as a search box. Can anyone tell me how I
can the fields to appear as form fields in the backend like any other
extension manages to do?
