[TYPO3] RTE and Javascript Links

Hello All,

For a customer we are trying to create a link within the RTE.  This link 
points to a javascript function that performs the actual popup. Now when 
saving this it is allright.

When opening the content element and saving it again all the links are 
show in a red box with yellow interior. This means we have an error. 
These are also shown in the front-end.

Could anyone help us on how to call a javascript function from within a 
link? It should be user friendly.
