Just to send to the regular receivers is not working.

I can send test mails. But when I try to send emails to the regular 
receivers, the system says:

Sending is planned for 2006-09-21 15:53 to the receivers #10

But unfortunately nothing happens!

Sorry I do not understand Linux etc. So I do not quiet understand what 
the meaning is of:

mailer.php is executable.

If you have not done it already, ad to the crontab of the root or apache 
users the following line
* * * * * /typo3_src-4.0.2/typo3/ext/tcdirectmail/mailer.php >/dev/null 2>&1

Is it necessary to do that for a newsletter each month? Manually to 
start is ok.

Why does the normal sending not work?
