[TYPO3] TS config of BAHAG photogallery

Does anyone know if it's possible to set some variables of this
extension via TypoScript and not flexforms?

I would like to set some values so that the extension would use these if
the flexform values are not set. The idea behind is that editors
wouldn't have to set the same values over and over for every
photogallery instance.

If this is not possible by default, has anyone tried to modify the
extension in this way?
