[TYPO3] categorized extension list?

The extension list on the old typo3.org site could be viewed in the
way you propose. I agree with you that sometimes extension that have
the functionality you want dont show up on certain keywords you might
expect (but that might just as well have to do with a 'bad' title and
description).

Maybe some sort of keyword field could be added to the extension list
where developers can add keywords - or make it possible for users
themselves to add keywords to plugins and make it searchable that way.
