yes, right. 
But beware using the predefined keywords makes typo3 output a :
"<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>" 
in front of the doctype which causes the internet explorer
falling back to quircksmode even if you specified a standart/almost
standart doctype.
There is a tag to avoid this "doctypeswitch" or similiar.
