[TYPO3] browsable filelinks

Hi

I'm looking for a frontend plugin that gives the possibility to browse a 
physical path on the server, create thumbnails and link to the original. 
A very simple press center in other words. Much like the standard 
filelinks content element, but with an added browser.

I have looked into a lot of the gallery-extensions, some work on a 
single folder, others with db-based galleries. I simply want to display 
the contents of a folder recursively.
