[TYPO3] Running Multiple Sites from one instance of Typo3

Hi there

I presume that it is possible, but i need more information,

Is it possible to have multiple sites set up trhough Typo3 with one instance
running on the server.

We hav a number of small to medium sites which need building and they dont
justify running their own instance of typo3.

If so, does anyone have any links to resources on how to set this up and
configure

Could anyone recommend a good hosting company for Typo3 to host some medium
sized websites.

I have seen a number on the web but have had quite a bad experience in the
past with hosting companies.

Any links to good and affordable companies would be great.

TYPO3 does a lot of memory-intense operations, starting with
localisations in XML format, large arrays in EM and elsewhere. The
framework itself is very large and very powerful, and any comparable
system would probably need just as much memory.

Keep in mind that TYPO3 is an enterprise-class CMS meant to be run on
enterprise-class web servers. These days, even a 32M memory footprint is
quite low, considering that comparable stuff like ZOPE or any JAVA
framework won't run on so little RAM either...
